Enjoying the Ashford Honey Festival
Eanna Ní Lamhna enjoys the festival with the Irish Garden Birds team

It was a fun event with plenty of activities for young and not so young, with over 2000 visitors on the day. A popular feature is the observational hive and there is plenty of quality local honey to sample and purchase. Add in pollinator friendly plants and local produce, as well as Irish Garden Birds top collection of Bee houses and Insect Hotels , plus lots of Solitary Bee friendly information and planting leaflets. Pick up a free copy of our A2 poster, ‘Wicklow’s Garden Wildlife’.. Enjoy the buzz!
